After trying to silence resistance and dissent in JNU, the right wing BJP government is again on the aggressive mode and now trying to create fear in University of Hyderabad. It reinstated the Vice Chancellor of Hyderabad University who was responsible for the death of Rohith and when the students and teachers protested against this move, they all were brutally beaten up. The police crackdown in Hyderabad University is the latest in the series of attempts to use police force to inculcate fear among students and control the campuses by the Modi led government. These all are part of the move to silence the voices of dissent and resistance against rising Hindutva fascism in India.
