INDIA: Disgruntled of the right wing BJP state government’s apathy, farmers of Maharashtra are in an uproar. The All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) is on ‘Long March’ on foot with over 50,000 peasants marching for a distance of nearly 200 Km from Nashik to Mumbai. After reaching Mumbai, peasants will gherao the state assembly on 12 March.
